Heidi Richardson
President
Heidi Richardson is a mixed media artist originally from Haida Gwaii who has been living in Prince Rupert since 2018. Her creative journey has taken her through many different mediums, with pottery becoming a recent passion and an exciting part of her artistic practice.
As the newly elected President of the Kxeen Arts Council, Heidi is excited to give back to the community. She hopes to bring fresh energy, new ideas, and a renewed passion for the arts while creating more opportunities for people of all ages to connect, create, and feel a sense of belonging within the local arts community.
For Heidi, art is about more than creating — it’s about community, connection, sharing stories, and making sure there is a place for creativity to continue growing in Prince Rupert for generations to come.
