Community Member Group Grants

Assistance is available for KAC member groups offering arts and cultural services to our local communities. To become a member, sign up here. 
Grant amounts awarded each year depend upon available funds.

Granting timeline

• Spring Deadline - March 31st

• Summer Deadline - June 30th

• Fall Deadline - September 30th

• Winter Deadline - December 30th

Grant recipients will be notified and awarded funds 1 month after the deadline.

​​Eligibility:
To be eligible for this grant, the applicant group must be a current member of the Kxeen Arts Council (formerly Prince Rupert Community Arts Council).

Requirements:
To be considered in awarding a grant:

• Applicants should clearly demonstrate how their organization or event promotes arts and cultural programs for Prince Rupert and / or surrounding communities.

• Applicants should clearly outline their annual budget, including other sources of funding.

• Applicants should show how their event will be accessible and inclusive to a wide range of community members.
